David brings over 25 years of experience in food and farming, with a strong foundation in both academic and professional contexts. He has spent the past two decades in senior leadership roles across farming, procurement, international supply chains, operations, commercial strategy, and general management.

His background includes blue-chip organisations such as Del Monte, Greenvale AP, AM Fresh, and Kettle Produce. David’s expertise spans fresh produce, retail supply, food manufacturing, arable production, and circular food systems.

First-hand sector knowledge and expertise - circular food systems, food waste mitigation, end-to-end supply-chains, Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA), vertical farming, insect protein, processing, growing & crop protection, food manufacturing, renewable energy systems, farm management, combinable crops, poultry (eggs), field veg & salads, glasshouse produce, fruit production.
